Urban relation
The dissonance tower
In the heart of Nahlaot, one of Jerusalem's oldest neighborhoods, the dissonance tower stands out. The tower brings the new old into the old.
The tower is long and thin (8m x8m) not bring a mass that would be too important into Jerusalem's Skyline.
The towers would mix large religious families with younger crowds. The religious families would live on the tower first floors while young people would live on higher flowers in small 60 Square meters appartement. The goal is to switch roles.
